Kate Copithorne

 

Born and raised on a ranch west of Calgary, Kate has always been around and in love with all things fuzzy and furry. She spent 10 years working in the hospitality industry as a Chef before going back to school to pursue a degree in Human Resources, which she completed in 2016.

Growing up, there was always a Black Lab that needed a stick tossed or Australian Kelpie in needed a belly rub. Although she currently doesn’t have a dogs of her own, we don’t hold that against her. She is a friend to all and always willing to give an ear scratch or belly rub.

 

Kate still spends a lot of her spare time at her family’s ranch or with her kitties.  The cats seem to always know what drawer the yarn is in and how to get it all over her house. Along with her hobbies of cooking, knitting, and quilting, she spends time working with her bees and producing fresh honey.

Kate is happy to take on the role of office manager at the Canine Fitness Centre, and we couldn't be happier to have her!
