Rosemary Young

Rose is a Calgary-native with a certificate in animal sciences. She has been involved in the animal health care industry for most of her career as a veterinary assistant and clinic manager as well as being a Certified Canine and Equine Body Worker.

As a breeder of Siberian Huskies and Ibizan Hounds, Rose is well known and respected on the dog show circuit as both a breeder and a handler. Rose is involved in the rescue and rehabilitation of Siberian Huskies and many other breeds. Additionally, she has been a columnist with Canadian Dog Digest and has been featured in The Western Horse Review's Question and Answer section.

Rose has spent many years in veterinary clinics, dog shows, and rescue organizations, referring several dogs to the Canine Fitness Centre over the years. Becoming a member of the Canine Fitness Centre team fills the missing piece of her career puzzle!

Beyond the time spent with animals, Rose is kept busy with her two boys and she and her husband's own business!
