Lindsey Grant, BSc

Lindsey recently obtained her Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences as well as in Primatology from the University of Calgary (2009). Lindsey has been involved with companion animals for a long time, working and volunteering with the Calgary Humane Society. Her interest in canine rehabilitation began when the 10-year-old Sheltie she adopted began to demonstrate neurological issues. Her interests in rehabilitation were furthered when her two year old Newfoundland, Mason, required surgery and rehabilitation for an ACL tear. Lindsey joined The Canine Fitness Centre team in 2008 and performs underwater treadmill programs for fitness, rehabilitation and neurological purposes in canines.  Lindsey’s role at the clinic has also expanded to include marketing and research ventures. Lindsey and her husband Craig have recently added a ‘human’ child, Brynne, to their busy lives in October 2011!
